Hope has been disgraced, belittled, branded a murderer, and betrayed by him, and by his wife. If the truth of what happened to Mark, Hope's former boss, ever got out, both Mike and Anne would lose everything. Their lives, carefully crafted careers, reputations, and any and all wealth and security they have accumulated would be gone if Hope decided to tell the simple truth. It is the one thing his wife fears most. What Dr. Mike Shannon is about to find out is Hope Taylor holds a firm grip on his life and his freedom. The reality is she really does have his destiny in her vengeful little hands, and the consequences to this discovery could be big trouble for him and for Anne...
Destiny Blaine pens the continuation of her short delightful series of stories about her young Mistress, Hope Taylor. The circumstances of the Mike's life and his realtionship with his wife Anne are not Hope's concern anymore. She has been burned, and now is in the relationship form a postiton of power. The last thing she expected was to be betrayed, and with the suspicion of Mark's death hanging over her, her job lost, and her friends gone, she does not have much to lose. She does know she can inflict major damage on Mike and Anne with the simple truth. For the first time in this relationship, Hope can call the shots. The right words in the right ears can send her lover off to jail, and there is nothing Mike or Anne can do. Anne says Mike should tame his mistress, but can Hope be tamed? Taming a Mistress is a story that develops into something big. Will we ever find out all of what happens? Well, again I have to tell you I liked this short very much. Taming a Mistress is definitely a "whet your whistle read," and will have you looking the previous two shorts if you have not all ready read them, and for more from Ms Blaine.
