There is nothing in Samantha White’s day, or experience, that prepared here for this occurrence. Of course, as usual, her life was a mess, but for her it was a normal situation. On probation at work, harassed by some men, envied by some woman, and thought to be without a brain were not unusual for her in her Marilyn Monroe-like form. The fact she was now standing naked, angry, and facing seven of the shortest, ugliest versions of the troll dolls she has ever seen…well that was entirely too much. Putting the sleeze-ball clients aside, if this wasn’t a horrible nightmare, she was not sure what it was, or could be called. The sensation of being ogled by seven creeps is totally overpowered when a sensuously deep voice declares he is her trainer, and nearly knocks her off her feet. Now naked is a whole new thing, and she is embarrassed, thrilled, titillated, and totally unbalanced by the force. Lust is always a force to be reckoned with, but this seems to be more than raw lust. That is NOT to say there isn’t a lot of that involved, but upon learning she is to be trained in sex for the Prince of Helle’s new theme park is not a turn-on. Her thoughts of escape burn away under her trainer’s skillful hands, yet there is more underlying the situation. Could this feeling be true, and actually be real for her? Could it be love?

Deuce was surprised when the tables were turned on him by his student. The voluptuous woman was not only sexy, but he finds her smart as well, and his. She has spunk, and he decides his job may not be so easy after all, but definitely a challenge. In spite of her fiery temperament, he can sense her fear, uncertainty, and underneath it all an innate sexuality which is very attractive to him in ways he doesn’t yet understand. He only knows she is fighting. Some of the things he can surmise, the situation may be difficult for her, and the norms her society follows is surely one. The state of her dress, or undress as it is, makes her very uncomfortable, but it is something she will have to get used to where she is going. The fight in her is incongruous with her body’s nature, and it puzzles him. Samantha fights her captivity, wants to escape, something which he cannot understand. She fights the orm chair, struggles in vain, and she even fights him in spite of the attraction he senses. He is in no way prepared for this, and there was noting in his preparation that even hinted at this kind of a reaction. When she literally attacks him, he finds out first hand what the miraculous orm chair is capable of, and when the first sparks are ignited, Deuce realizes he is in deep trouble…

Hello Mimi Riser, and welcome to the world. I want to know where this idea for Samantha White and the Seven Dwarves came from and do you have more? This little fantastic little story with the big title is maddening, funny, sexy, and has wonderful depth as Samantha and Deuce struggle to find out the value of love, the price of freedom, and that there IS actually a God, and angels can come in some really strange forms. Between the lines of this delightful read, you find two strong characters thrown together because they are right for each other, and need a push to get them started in the direction they need to go. They have to find their way together, and all life leads up to one simple fact, you need two to tango, to live, and also to love. Captivity is ok for no one, and the sooner freedom is reached, and the goal won, the work stars all over again. What Deuce and Sam discover on this journey will result in one of two things, freedom, or slavery, and the choice is theirs. The challenge is to discover what is important in their lives, and what is in their hearts. Together, Samantha and Deuce must decide, and the rest you will have to find out for yourselves. Mimi’s book won the 2007 Amber Heat Wave contest, and I can see why. If you wish to find out what happens to Samantha, and how she survives her capture by the Harvesters, then pick up your copy of Samantha White and the Seven Dwarves at Amber Quill's Amber Heat imprint today.
