Jenny was determined to get her friend, Serena inked, and to that end, they showed up at the tattoo parlor. Jenny knew what she wanted, but Serena didn’t. One could say it was fate, Serena had begged out of a trip to the male review, and Jenny was determined she was not going to wimp out again. She didn’t see anything she wanted on the walls, didn’t think there was a design there for her, even though she had wanted a tattoo for a while. Of course, that was only before, and until Serena set eyes on the picture of a gorgeous male with the sword tattooed on his back. The design slipped and fell from the design binder the tattoo artist had provided, and drew her attention and more. It almost spoke to her as it drew her deeper into wanting, and caused Serena to rush back to the parlor shortly before closing. Reluctantly, Jack gave in to what Serena wanted, and even as he tattooed the magical design into her skin, she felt something stir deep within herself. Heat rose, and every tick of the needle, every swipe of Jack’s hand stirred a hotter and more intense passion in her, which she had been totally unaware she possessed...
Freedom. Long held as a taboo, the magical tattoo had been hidden and shunned by generations of artists as a definite “do not touch” design, and it was left in sensory deprivation in the darkness. Yet when the woman came into the shop, something sparked. As if it had a life of its own, it slipped from the binder and fell. Floating to the floor, it drifted, and as it hit the floor and caught the young woman’s eye, the spell was set.
Savannah Chase is a mistress of the erotic tale, and this one is not any different. Set for eternity in a tattoo pattern, a warrior is trapped, and with this as the background, she sets her tale. Pleasure After The Pain is a reward to the reader in that it is a quick and sexy read that speeds one to the finish in record time. Serena’s story is too good, and unfortunately too short, but it is well worth the price. She gets more than she bargains for in her new tattoo, and yet she is more than pleased with the results. Even with the warnings from the tattooist, Jack, her mind is set and she is very glad, and happy with her new art, especially since she receives a whole lot of pleasure after suffering the pain of the design being inked into her skin. If you want a delightful, and quick read, then Pleasure After The Pain by Savannah Chase is a must buy, so slip on over to Red Rose Publishing and get a copy for your bookshelf.
