For a story to be complete, one needs a hero to match. That is what Virginia was looking for when she went to that particular bar. The hero she had in mind then, was not the hero she found, but he is to her way of thinkning, a whole lot better. In her wildest dreams, she cannot imagine the feel of gaze on her as she does when she finally makes her bold move, the hisses and daggered looks that are thrown her way as she leaves the bar with Anando.
He has never seen her before, and Anando would have surely noticed had she been in his regular circle of treats. She reeked of innocence, curiosity, and a maturity that speaks to him, and him alone. For all those jades who flocked around him, and his choices are quite varied, she stood out, and so he finds himself leading her away into the night for some fun and games on his terms.
In this short and sexy little version of the play on the vampire mystique, Kallysten has reached beyond and taken the short short to a new and sexy high. For those of you who know me, you are aware of my prejudice against the first person story, and only a few cases do I find an enjoyable read. Well my friends, Kallysten caught me with this one. Written in almost a diary style, Out of the Box captured and enchanted me, then it was done. Was the story worth it? Yep, it was short, sexy, erotic, and on top of all that, managed to actually be a fun read.
Thank you very much Kallysten for bringing, to me at least, a flash of enjoyment in an otherwise rather dreary, and self-serving first person world.
