She is a bit peeved about his indifference to her staying with a man neither she nor he has ever met. This trip brings her to visiting Jim, her boss, to go over final publishing issues. With his wife away, he offers his home for the three days but takes their friendship further then Sandra ever expects. His advances prompt Sandra to reminisce about her marriage. So, does she succumb to Jim’s promises of a rousing sensuous three days… or does she walk away?
Published by Wild Rose Press, Out of Sight is a delightfully entertaining short story with genuine enchanting characters. Ms. Odell beautifully sets a fast pace in this charming plot about two long married people giving thought, for the first time, to stepping out on their respective spouses. As the story continues, the reader wonders will they jeopardize their marriages for three days of sizzling carnal indulgent. Or will their love and long-term commitment win out?
