Shannon Braxton has a problem. He has loved Maya Caine for longer than he can remember, but he knows things will not be easy. Leave it to Mackenzie McKade to bring us a short read in Deadly Desires that is packed with excitement, thrills, and a romance to bring out the wants in all of the lovers of good romances. These wide-eyed lovers will have a hard time ahead, but never underestimate the depth or the breadth of Mackenzie's characters. They are full-bodied, ready to rumble, and not only against each other. Maya is truly a warrior princess, and although Shannon would rather make love and not war with her, he can hold his own. Only together can they truly win, but can they discover this fact in time to save not only their worlds, but their love?
