Llyn went as bid to the human woman to reward her as Neptune dictated. He was faithful to his liege, and his life, although somewhat boring and bare, had been filled with the satisfactions and rewards of belonging to the Sea God's court. He was impressed the woman remembered and offered the proper thanks to Neptune, and so it wasn't a chore to deliver the God's gift, but an honor. When Neptune dispatched Llyn on this mission, he didn't know he was also being greatly rewarded for his own devoted service to the God, and he would find a woman whom he could cherish. Little does Llyn know he will find and be bound to this love by the hand of Neptune, and in that gain one of the greatest rewards the God of the Sea could bestow.
Communing With Mighty Neptune has only one problem that I can see...it is too short! It is a delight to read, it is fun, sassy, sexy, and altogether a delightfully erotic little romp that ends all too soon. Sylvie and Llyn are delightful characters, full of everything that makes romance great...beauty, strength, love, and a desire to do what pleases each other as well as themselves. When you add these qualities with a god who is determined to reward one, and ends up rewarding both, then you have a real winner. I would suggest Communing With Mighty Neptune for anyone who enjoys the fantasy and mythology, fot it embodies all the best elements in one sensuous paranormal read you will be pleased to have on your Keeper Shelf.
