He knows he needs to take his time, plan his steps, and with any luck, he will have exactly what he wants, and it might just last forever. Now is not the time to get careless, and Jared’s curiosity will only go so far at one shot. Now that things have begun, it is up to Byron not to mess up, to keep Jared’s interest, and keep him guessing. It will take planning, care, and all the love Byron has for Jared to gain success. The question is can and will Jared fall in love with him and be his lover?

Jaxx Steele manages to provoke, evoke, and emote in the most glorious way the relationship between his two characters. Byron is the man about town, the vamp in the know with tastes that tend to be on the eclectic side to say the least. And in entertainment and his sexual preferences, he is rather open about his choices. Jared is quite a bit more conventional, with a fondness for women, but totally naive when it comes to men, It is in this situation, and with Byron's taunts in his ears that Jared takes his first steps into the wild side. It is one of Byron’s favourite haunts, called Club Hombre that Jared first experiences a small bit of the world of gay sex, and gets the first glimmer of the possible truth behind Byron’s words. But still, Jared has no inkling of what is really behind Byron’s thoughts and actions until much later. Jaxx Steele writes with a light touch, yet with the intimate and sure knowledge of his characters tastes, even if they are not certain of them. His instinctive and innate talents glow from the pages as he brings his readers along for the ride.
