A philandering spouse always leaves a nasty impression. Once the dust settles, after the separation of property and divorce, the faithful person never trusts so blindly again. Only a special someone can breach those unyielding emotional barriers, awakening a trusted loving again. A charming, natural tale, Burn Baby Burn tells of two people who have shelved their attraction since meeting two years ago. Married at the time, Marisa thought Ethan McCafferty, her husband’s best friend, gorgeous. Yet, she ignores those feelings, focusing solely on her regularly cheating husband.

Marisa takes photographs of hunky firefighters for a charity calendar, where all its proceeds go to a women’s shelter. During the photo shoot, she runs into her now ex-husband’s friend once more. Her ”do not touch” mantra, spoken so many times before, does not apply in this instant, as both are free of any romantic trappings. The pain of betrayal still fresh for Marisa so getting involved, even just for sex, makes her uncomfortable. A romp under the bed sheets with a virile man is all she wants…or is it?

Seeing her again, reminds firefighter Ethan McCafferty that his ex-best friend really blew it. No way would he seek outside bedroom entertainment with a sexy wife, like Marisa, waiting at home. Her admission to being immune to a man charms motivates Ethan to prove that his allure will change her mind. Once the photo session finishes he takes a moment finally to express his interest in her, giving Marisa a sizzling kiss that promises so much more. Sadly enough he cannot fathom the fixed bitterness she carries towards her ex-husband. Since divorcing, Marisa erects an indestructible emotional barrier that requires a cunning though ingenious man to penetrate.

Expect to be fired up once this delightful story gets going. The sexual tension fans those lusty flames while delivering an arousing plot. Claiming her camera’s memory card failed, loosing all his pictures, Marisa asks Ethan to return to her studio for a retake. Once he arrives, she demands he remove all his clothes. Ethan’s blushing is adorable, letting the reader feel his unease at being naked with a camera in the room. When Marisa offers to remove her clothing as well does the heat in the studio rise, right along with the character’s libidos.

A short story published by Wild Rose Publication, Burn Baby Burn is sure to make readers wiggle with contained ardor. Ms. Logan’s indisputable characterizations are engaging as they fuel this incredibly sexy tale. Readers, looking for an arousing short story that will stay with you well after finishing? Then pick up Burn Baby Burn, you won’t be disappointed.
