For Fiorenzo, the same could be said, but he was just coming to grips with the loss of his beloved mistress. There has been no time to mourn her, and it hurt him for he had truly loved her. Now he had to face facts, he was being driven to find satisfaction, and the woman behind the peacock mask beckoned to him with innocent seduction. Behind the Mask is a very quick read, a very satisfying read, and it is delightful in spite of the length.
