What type of books do we review?

The books must have an element of romance in them. We like all types of genres including paranormals, historical, contemporary, chick lit, fantasy and suspense. We review anything from Christian romance to erotica. We match up each book with a reviewer.

How do I get on your A-Z Author Directory?

We have just revamped our author listing. Now you can add yourself by going to http://www.romancejunkies.com/links/

click on the - Please click to submit your site for listing consideration. Fill out the form and you are all set. Your info goes into a query that we then can release. So if you don’t see your listing go up right away check back in a couple days.

We also have a couple new directories – book trailer and author blog. Don’t forget to add your info to the new directories. And now if you have a free read you an add the url.

A few hints…

Select Category - Author Bio
Your name should be entered in the name field
Author Email will not appear on the website
Author Homepage should include http://, just surf to your site and copy the link in the address window.
Don’t worry about the Author Photo field
First paragraph will appear on the main page, not on the actual article, so put a copy of the first paragraph of your bio in the first paragraph box.
In the Entry box put the whole bio you would like to appear. Bio can be as long or as short as you like
To add your photo - Click on Upload Images button and upload a file less than 160 by 160 pixels photo. When all done hit save.

Authors: Have some extra copies of your books that you'd like to see go to readers with some promotion? We are always looking for books, bookmarks, and promotional materials to send to our readers. We do giveaways in our bookclub and in chats and will put them to good use! We also put bookmarks and promo material in every package that we send out, as well as readers being able to send an SASE for promotional goodies.

Add your cover to the Cover Gallery:

To add your cover you go to http://romancejunkies.com/coppermine/

On the top menu click on Upload file.
Under file click the browse button and select your cover jpg or gif from where ever you have it on your computer (you may have to download it from a website onto your desktop to do this).
Hit continue. You should now see 1 uploads were successful.
Hit continue button.
Now click the down arrow under album and select genre for your book
Type or paste in your books title followed by your name.
You can paste or type in a description of your book up to 512 characters. Include with this the url for your website or url where to buy the book.
In keyword field you can put type of book, any key words for people using search option, but this step is not necessary. Click Continue
It will now display this message:

The previous file was placed successfully.

Your file was uploaded successfully.
It will be visible after admin approval.
Once it is approved by the admin it will appear in the album (it could take a couple days to be approved)

The Junkies Book Club is a huge success. We have now have over 1,500 members. You can join up anytime and just hang out or you can give us an excerpt of your current or upcoming book to post. We have a goodies room for the bookclub. We are slowly stockpiling extra books and goodies that we can give away randomly 'Las Vegas Casino Style'. So if you have any back list titles, bookmarks, coverflats, etc. laying around you'd like to donate, we'll put them to good use. Do you have promotional materials or extra copies of your book you would like to donate to our site?
Thanks to the overwhelming success and growth of Romance Junkies our goodie room keeps emptying out quickly! Many of you have graciously donated items in the past for our readership such as cover flats, flyers, bookmarks, pens, pencils, magnets, mirrors, matchbooks, notepads, etc. We have had a huge response from readers, who have sent in SASE's for these goodies! And we also stuff all contest packages going out from our end with these goodies. Any extra books we get into the site or books donated by authors are put into our book vault and given away in our Bookclub during shout out contests.
