Sabrina got to breathe a little easier at the arrival of the handyman that was promised to her. Although looking at the fancy way the man dressed she wasn't too sure if he was capable of doing the job. If it was one thing Sabrina was sure of, it's that he certainly was one hot number. Jason may not know how to handle a wrench but he certainly knew how to make his sexy muscles ripple. More than once Sabrina finds herself daydreaming about being in his arm's. Unfortunately, she is taking a break from all men at the moment due to being cheated on byRodney, her ex-fiancé and current pain in life. Planning Rodney's engagement party for him and his new bride to be Moira is not on Sabrina's favorite to do list. She needs the funds as well as the upper class clientele that the party would bring in and so suffers through having to put up with the couple’s rudeness. With Jason at her side however, she finds that things go much more smoothly. She also finds herself falling more and more under the sensual spells he weaves. As Director of Acquisitions it is a job that Jason has always taken seriously. He didn't climb is way to the top by being soft hearted. His ability to sway property owners and cinch a deal quickly has gotten him top billing. Jason loves his New York lifestyle and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. He believes his latest trip out to Vermont will be just another walk through the park and the deal is as good as final. When his mother died Jason didn't make it to the hospital in time. When Jason is mistaken for the long awaited for handyman he uses the misunderstanding to his advantage. After all she was going to be his boss for the next 30 days. Which gave him more than enough time to work on pitching her a deal to buy the land. Things don't go smoothly for Jason and as each day passes he finds himself falling under the pretty Sabrina's enchanting spell. She is slowly taking hold of his heart and allowing him into a world so full of natural beauty that he has no choice but to succumb. Things at his home office though are no better. His best friend and co-worker Trevor informs him that the bosses want the deal closed quickly. He begins to see the Inns’ appeal and doesn’t want to mar it’s magnificence. But will it be too late for him to change his company‘s mind? What happens when Sabrina finds out that he, like the others, wants what she covets most?
Sabrina and Jason find themselves drawn to each other very deeply. They soon come to find out that it is more that just a simple fate. Sabrina, along with the help of one thoroughly hip angel, uses the snow globe as her guide. She looks for answers but is instead given cryptic messages, never truly looking at the obvious. Jason realizes that taking over Sabrina's property isn't an option anymore. Acquiring the Winning bid to his lady's heart is the only prize that he is after. He finds himself at an impasse and has to decide what he wants more. Money, or a chance at happiness with a women who makes him finally come alive. But there is someone sabotaging Sabrina's future at Maple Inn. Jason knows that he has the power to rescue Sabrina, but how can he when it is Jason who seems to be her biggest threat? Selena Robins has dished up a deliciously satisfying slice of romance that is sure to embrace your heart warmly. With a wonderfully mixed cast of characters that is sure to leave fingerprints on your soul, this is one read that positively dazzles. The sexual tension between Sabrina and Jason had me sitting on the edge of my seat reveling in the moments they spent wrapped in each others arms. I swooned as Jason charged in and rescued his damsel in distress from the evil villainy of Rodney and Moira. SABRINA'S DESTINY sparkles and shines and will draw you into the most romantic place on earth. The human heart. I fell in love with this story of two people who grow together and learn that life is precious and fragile and is not to be wasted by anger and what if's. Ms. Robins has hinted at a sequel and I for one will anxiously await the day it hit’s the shelves. SABRINA'S DESTINY was published by Treble Heart Books and available as of the year 2003.
