Kayla Martin is boisterous and resounding with a vibrating voice that really can be earsplitting. For years she has been a very close friend and neighbor of Dylan Thompson. Kayla is at a standstill when she and Dylan become closer in their relationship. When she gazes at him, she thinks of handsome movie stars. In comparison, he isn’t flashy like some of the rugged stars of today, instead he reminds her of a suave Gary Grant. When they agree to a gamble of sorts, she is all for it. Dylan is one smooth operator that she would love to get to know better, plus this is one bet she would enjoy coming out winning. Their gamble during the poker bet is rather intriguing but the consequences afterwards are what have her mind buzzing. Whoever wins the wager gets to do whatever they desire to the other. Of course she has a new invention and it’s certainly not any gadget for the kitchen. Her little anal toy is just one of several surprises that she has in store with the stake in this game. After the poker game, will she ever be able to really confess that fact to him and live up to her part of the bargain? At this point in time, she knows they need to come to terms in their relationship. Can it lead to a life everlasting for the both of them?
Dylan Thompson is rather simple and unchanging. He and his good friend, Kayla are different like night and day. Always a friend and confident of Kayla’s, he has spent many years with a bit of flirtation never thinking anything would harvest with their growing attraction. He enjoys hearing her laugh because it seems to come from within her soul. Not only that he loves to listen to her voice because with each word that falls off her tongue, he seems to get hard with just the few words she forms into a sentence. He soon discovers that bit of attraction is indeed something more when he happens to play a game of poker with Kayla and offers a wager that she cannot refuse. It is a gamble that brings their attraction to be a turning point in their life with a physical relationship that neither anticipated.
Dylan discovers that their friendship grows into more than just companionship between the two. When he finds their liaison at a crossroads, he knows they must come to a decision with their love life. But will it lead to real love for the both of them or lack of support and unbelief in each other? With all the closeness that they have shared, neither really wants heartbreak and a broken friendship. When Kayla displays her new invention to him, his eyes eagerly begin fantasizing a great many things that he can do to her that will not only bring sheer pleasure to her but him as well. The only question, can it produce a lifetime of happiness or is it just lust in passing?
Call Me is a very sensual exciting read. The characters are really refreshing. Kayla with her originality and Dylan with his suave sophisticated charm made this story a luscious read. This was a believable story in the way that this couple could open up and be comfortable with each other, whether with humorous wit or sensual passion, Kayla and Dylan set the pages on fire with their scrumptious chemistry. I couldn’t help but feel a part of their lives. Kayla is adventurous with her little toys that she wishes to try on Dylan. Talk about hot sex scenes, you might need to be sitting in front of a fan, at times when turning these pages. The blending in of the secondary characters made this story an even better read. This is a spectacular book revolving around friendship and where even with great camaraderie, friends can easily become sensual lovers and make things work both ways.
Lena Matthews has a grand way of creating characters that make a story fascinating and really delectable. She opened doors to a wonderful couple that had me turning the pages. I didn’t want to put this story down. She spins a story that sizzles with a low flame then erupts into a blazing fire. She gave the story profound depth and tremendous passion. She has produced a thrilling story that leaves you wishing for more. Ms. Matthews has generated a read that will have you screaming in laughter one minute and trying to jump through the pages the second yanking Kayla or Dylan to wake up and get together and stop their nonsense. She draws you into a story like a spider spinning a web catching its prey. I hope she instills yet another magnificent creation but this time with Chris and Eliza, just two other characters that really draw your attention into this outstanding read. Ms. Matthews is a gifted writer and it clearly shows all throughout this book. She may have created just a short story but it is one that carries an abundance of clout.
