Gregorio Gaudixinu asked Danielle to be his decorator. He lost his wife in the war and thinks that a woman’s touch would help him with his decor. He finds Danielle not only lovely, but a woman whom he sees as troubled. He would like nothing better than to make her happy. The attraction he feels for her brings tremendous joy for the both of them. Love was not part of the bargain, it just happened. She is the first woman that seems to understand his feelings and he doesn’t wish to lose her.
Danielle cannot believe the audacity of her husband. First, he must go away to a war, then when he returns, he wishes nothing more but to spend all his time with Marcus, completely neglecting her. If the two are not spending time sharing drinks, they are off fishing somewhere together. After she agrees to accompany Rick on a trip, she is surprised he has asked his best friend to come along. Could things get any worse? When they reach Malta, the strain becomes too much for her to bear, and she decides to get out of the situation. She is tired of feeling so much neglect. Just when she is ready to make a difficult decision, in her life, Gregorio enters and creates a stir she has not felt in a very long time.
Gregorio paints a lovely world for Danielle and would love to show her many other things that life has to offer. Neither knew the time they spent together would lead to a sweet tender romance. Danielle is torn with too many feelings, as she sets to find a new life that doesn’t include her husband.
I Imagine Walking is a story that will hold the readers attention from the first page to the last. Danielle is a lonely wife and her sensations can be felt through the pages. She reminds me of a cocoon ready to break forth into a butterfly and spread her wings, as she shows her courage in this read to do something to finally find true happiness in her life. She desires that solid rock that she and her husband once had in their marriage, but staying in a no win situation is not good for her or him. When no blissfulness can be found, Gregorio seems to fill the void that she desperately seeks. The intensity of their love and romance, sprinkles sweetly throughout the storyline.
Ms. Mueller paints a picture that touches the reader’s heart. She captures the characters emotions as she sketches a detailed description of the setting that brings such wonderful imagery to the pages. She takes a few words and pens a fabulous story that continues on after it is finished, while captivating the reader. I always love every sensational story that Ms. Mueller composes. She lends great creativity, a stirring romance and in-depth feeling to her characters and makes stories that are really dynamite reading. She has a way of bringing sunshine into a reader’s life. This is a beautiful story that really shines magnificently in the Odyssey Anthology.
