There is no cutting corners for journalist and war correspondent Guy Maltravers. He is in this up to his eyeballs, and although the young man across from him is not joining him, in a way Guy wished it could be different. He could be the one going home, or to a different assignment, but no. He had made his plans, his contacts and the arrangements that will take him into the thick of the fighting. This is a place of unrest, and he is going deeper into the melee, farther to the fighting than most others have done before him. He was not shy, but he understood the other journalist’s hesitancy to go, to deliberately head into danger. There was also the fact of the recent stirrings in his soul, the ache he has for years passed off as just a perverted fantasy. He is happily married, yet he feels an emptiness, and a yearning he doesn’t fully understand. As he sat and talked with the other journalist named Todd, flashes of longing and desire whipped along his nerves, shocking him with an unholy desire. Now, he finds himself in a jeep with a surly Major, and that feelings he is trying to ignore are escalating.

Tabansi Changa had no idea how his life was to change, and how the stranger he picked op to take to the front would change his country and his own life. He is angry, fed up with journalists reporting what they felt like reporting, skewing the facts about this dirty little war for public consumption. Few told the story behind it all, few bothered digging for facts, and this man, this Maltravers was probably going to be just like the rest. He resented is orders, and the fact he had to shepherd the man around, kowtow to his every wish, and probably his every demand as if he were a slave. He is angry because of lack of support from the outside, the fact no one was paying attention to the price his people were paying. Although he was born into a wealthy family and was in England more than here, his attachment to the people in the nation of his birth was deep and abiding. Mandasi needed help, but he doubted it would see any in the near future. Guy Maltravers did have a few surprises for Tabansi, and as they visited a village ravaged by the rebel mercenaries, his eyes opened. Here might actually be a man who was as good as his word. A man, a journalist who actually cared about his people, and it turned him on.

The Facility Trip by Ansley Vaughn is an erotic male on male romance. For those of you not into the scene, into romance of same sex erotic play, steer clear of this work. For the rest,,,Welcome to a very sensual and erotic love story. Guy and Tabansi are compelling figures, both brought up with societal taboos, and both with the desires to break out and explore. For Tabansi, that has ever been the case, starting when he was but a youth in an English boarding school. And Guy? His desires are, to his knowledge, just fantasies, depraved and unnatural dreams he find a reluctant turn on. Now, out in the jungle and covering what is fast becoming the “story of a lifetime,” Guy is finding his embarrassing and depraved dreams and fantasies are actually coming to life. The angry and rebellious Major Changa has just saved his life, and it has turned him on big time. And Tabansi has noticed. Now locked together unable to travel any farther without escort, they must either succumb to the desires rushing through them, or pass on the night of their lives. For those of you who wish to see what happens, and the long range consequences of their meeting, I suggest you go to Freya’s Bower and get your copy of The Facility Trip today. The characters are strong and compelling, and it is a short, exciting, and very erotic book the open-minded reader in you will not be able to put down.
