Interview with Author Chastity Bush:
Hi Chastity. Thank you for doing this interview. I would like to welcome you to the Romance at Heart Interview and Author Grilling session. *bg* We are interested to find out as much about you as we possibly can, so lets get started...
- Please tell us about your latest book.
My latest book is entitled "The Guarding of Eden".
It’s is a contemporary romance about a woman who has it all until one day she walks in to find her fiancé in high heels and lingerie. After that everything seems to go downhill for Eden. So far down in fact she finds herself charged with her boss’s ex-wife’s murder. When her best friends send her into hiding with Jasper Carrington, Eden finds herself in a battle to control the ever growing lust he inspires.
What she does not know is that she is not the only one fighting to control their primal urges as Jasper is drawn to her like any other woman. He is there to protect her until the danger to her wanes but with every look sent his way he can't help but wonder who is going to protect her from him.

- How many readers contact you?
To be perfectly honest, not as many as you would think. I am still a rookie in this game. However I love to hear from readers and have set up a fan page on facebook and placed a guestbook on my website where readers can put their comments and become a fan and even post their own review of any of my books.
- Why did you decide to write romance novels?
Like most authors I have been an avid reader all of my life. My husband asked me one day if I had ever thought about writing a book myself and that was all it took. The seed was planted and I immediately started writing.
- Generally, how long does it take you to write a book?
I would say depending on the length of the book, anywhere from 3-6 months.
- Where do your ideas come from?
Everything that I write comes straight from my imagination. I try to make everything that I write original and new. Something no other author has ever done.
- What kind of research do you do?
I use a lot of Google! Especially when I am working on a paranormal. While I want to make my characters original and have special abilities of their own, I do want to keep some of the abilities that they were believed to have had.
- Who, if anyone, has influenced your writing?
If it was not for my husband I would not have started writing. He is always telling me how I will be a bestseller one day. There are times that I have wanted to throw my hands up in the air and call it quits and his support has kept me going. That kind of support is priceless.
