Susan Squires |
Susan Squires started writing during one of her many mid-life crises. The first book was 600 pages and totally unpublishable. But she kept at it, took classes at UCLA, joined critique groups, and finally sold Danegeld in 1999. That first book was re-written and published as Sacrament. Now she has written five novels and a novella in paranormal romance for Leisure Books. Her books cross genres from sci-fi to vampire to suspense. She currently has a series of erotic Regency vampire romances out from St. Martinıs Press. Her books have won numerous reviewers choice awards, as well as the Golden Heart, a Holt Medallion, and several PRISM awards. Body Electric, was named by Publisherıs Weekly as one of the most influential mass market books of 2002. No More Lies was a Rita finalist. Romantic Times Magazine has nominated her for a life-time achievement award. Her books have appeared on both the Waldenıs and New York Times bestseller lists. Susan still has a day-job working as an executive for a Fortune 500 company. She lives in Southern California at the beach with two Belgian sheepdogs, a warmblood mare and her husband, Harry, who writes horror as H.R. Knight and thrillers.
