Meet:

R. Casteel

Hi. My name is R Casteel, and I write romance. I am a retired Navy veteran and a father of two. I am a member of the Columbia Chapter of the Missouri Writers Guild and the author of five novels and three short stories, published with Ellora’s Cave Publishing.

I enjoy the outdoors and am a Search and Rescue Diver. My military service included experience as flight crewman, search and rescue, and as a Military Police Officer. My military background also influenced the writing of Crimson Rose, which is historically based on the bombing of the Marine Barracks in Beruit, Lebanon in the 1980's. The book is a tribute to them, and those they left behind.

As to my ability to write romance, Gloria for Best Reviews writes, “I had thought Leigh Greenwood was the only man who wrote wonderful romance...I was wrong... Rod Casteel is right there too!”

I currently live in my hometown of Lancaster Missouri. My website is R Casteel.Net, so stop in and visit.

Sincerely,

R. Casteel
