Kerrelyn Sparks

Kerrelyn Sparks was a high school French and History teacher with a dream of writing historical romance. In 2002, her dream came true. For Love or Country garnered two Dorothy Parker Awards- Best Long Historical and Best Debut Author. It also received a KISS award from the Romantic Times Bookclub.

After that, Kerrelyn learned that dreams can be modified. She now writes paranormal comedy for Avon. Her first vampire comedy thriller, How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire, released in August 2005 and survived three weeks on the USAToday Bestseller list. The next book in the series, Vamps and the City, releases May 2006.

Kerrelyn lives in the Greater Houston area with her heroic husband and brilliant children. At this time, there are no vampires in her family. Werewolves are another matter entirely.
