Meet: Jean de Cherie |
Jean de Cherie, a younger son of the de Cheries of Picardy and Normandy, Lords of Beuval, Leguidere and Villencourt, possessing neither title nor property, obtained, in AD 1407, a Safe Passage to England, where he took up residence in the village of Maidenhead, then some 25 miles west of London. Not quite 600 years later and several thousand miles to the West, a descendant was born who would come to write under the name of this distant ancestor. Believe it or not, this is truly my ancestor! Writer bio: Male, 54, divorced from an English woman. Grew up in Colorado, graduated from Colorado State U in 1990 with a BA in Creative Writing. Previous publications of poetry, opinion pieces, fiction and non-fiction. These are my first erotic romance publications, both short stories: The Memory of a Touch (4/05), and The One That Got Away (7/05), both from HeatWave Romance. I am currently finishing up a sequel to The Memory of a Touch, and have another full length project nearly finished, as soon as I have the time to wrap it up. My all-time favorite book is: More recently, I have quite a few of Sahara Kelly's titles, and had the pleasure of meeting her at RT last May, along with her partner, SL Carpenter. I also met Shara Lanel, who is also with HeatWave, and purchase each of my fellow HeatWave author's titles as soon as they are released. I like some of these more than others, but it gives me a little thrill to know I have a publisher's entire catalog. Sincerely, Jean de Cherie His Newest Releases!
