Meet: Heather Holland |
I've always loved to write, but didn't finish anything I'd started until a couple years ago. My class reunion is coming up before much longer, and I decided I wanted to be published before then. So, I finished my first novel, a contemporary cowboy. After that, I wrote my first paranormal, under some prodding from a friend. It was suggested I write something aimed at Ellora's Cave and try my hand there. Well, I aimed that paranormal toward them, and lo and behold, it sold. Due to some editing problems, that book won't be out until next year, with luck, but my first release was fun to do, too. A mythology twist on Medusa was my first. It's just a Quickie, but you have to start somewhere. I plan to stick with this profession for a long time to come.
