Carys Weldon |
Carys Weldon was born in a very “suburban America” town in Indiana, and raised conservatively. She was transplanted from the Midwest to a spot just outside of Vegas when she was sixteen—to a town famous for its brothels. But still, she retained a virginal air. And then she met a cowboy. A renegade. A rebel. A real Evel Knievel—with battle scars to prove it—but sexier, younger. He swept her off her feet, like a knight in shining armor, making her believe all those crazy little fairy tales little girls are told: One day, your prince will come. But then they had children. Five. And four of them were girls. And Carys found out that princes are very hard to come by. And girls need all the hope they can get. Now, she lives in a haunted hollow in Missouri. Some think that her paranormal stories come when the wind and wolves and ghosts howl. She says, with a laugh, “They come when the girls cry. I think…if men sprouted fangs, they couldn’t be more questionable than what my girls have been dating. In my dreams, they, at least, take on honorable qualities.” Carys Weldon has won about 50 writing awards, and sold several novels and over a dozen novellas in the last year and a half. She loves writing about vampires, werewolves, and all things paranormal. She believes in psychics, true love, and destiny. All of Carys Weldon's works that are presently out are with eXtasy Books.
