Meet:

Blaise Kilgallen

I’m a published Romance Author and have written Historical and Contemporary Romances under the name Joan M. Fox as well.

I was born in the “Garden State” and have lived in small towns in New Jersey most of my life. Currently residing in semi-rural Sussex County, I keep company with a Thoroughbred mare (retired), a half-Siamese cat (up there in years), and “a rather large” Rottweiler (a real sweetheart).

I earned a B.S. in Fine Art Education from N.J. Teachers’ College but never pursued teaching as a career. Over a period of years, I worked with a series of New York advertising agencies in varied creative positions. Later, I wrote catalog and direct mail copy for a small appliance firm and a drapery/bedspread manufacturer. I earned a N.J. Real Estate Broker’s license and sold real estate for 13 years after that. I now write romantic fiction and sell my watercolor artwork.

As Blaise Kilgallen, my first erotically explicit romance, “Wild Knights,” was released by Liquid Silver Books in August 2003. Another sensual contemporary romance, “The Plumber’s Helper,” came next. I went back to writing “wicked” historicals when “Carnal Pleasures” was released by LSB the following year. My newest Regency, “A Reckless Affair,” was published August 29th from the same publisher. “Taking A Chance,” a short novella will appear in LSB’s Zodiac Series, Sagittarius, to be released in November 2005. I am currently working on several new novels set in contemporary and historical eras.
