Meet:
B. Dian Addair |
Gayle Eden and Eve Asbury are the pen names for me, Dian Addair. An author whose dreams of writing were put on hold in my twenties while I raised a son and daughter and worked several jobs, I now have two pen names and twelve novels, and I am just getting started. Romance novels kept me sane during some of those busy years, having moved from the mountains of West Virginia, living in a suburb of Washington, DC for fifteen more, until finally settling in East Tennessee (USA) Yep, I settled here on three acres surrounded by the North Holston River, where I can write to my hearts content. I call my life as a young grandmother of 44, controlled chaos, actually it’s quite normal for a woman who was born 9th in line and was an aunt by age five. I set aside Saturdays for family, cooking, romping with the granddaughters. The rest of the week, when not stealing an hour with my busy husband, I’m at the computer immersing myself in another good plot. I am an author who believes in story telling, in giving yourself the freedom to write whatever story speaks to your heart. It can be difficult, but I try not to limit my characters by outline, but have a vague idea that generally they run away with--and sometimes give me fits by defying my attempts to keep them in check. It’s not unheard of for me to sit down at the computer and realize ten hours later I’ve written 200 page—prolific, yes. I have found its better to indulge my muse than try and control it—a bit like real life, it happens, and there’s always something new and surprising that makes the experience rewarding. Sincerely, B. Dian Addair On my keeper shelf? Everthing Johanna Lindsey ever wrote. Julie Garwood. Amanda Quick, Judith McNaught, Laveryle Spencer. I have tons of books and lots of favs...yes, I am loyal. It is very hard for me to leave a favorite author. Her Newest Releases! Author's Site - Eve's Romance.Com
